Laura has a strong background in public relations, marketing, and communications, as well as a track record of delivering exceptional results for clients. 

Prior to joining Crosscut Strategies, Laura was an Account Executive at a PR firm, managing relationships with a portfolio of B2B tech clients, ensuring satisfaction and achieving their desired media coverage goals. Laura’s strategic approach and execution of PR strategies resulted in her clients being featured in publications such as Forbes, Inc., and Axios. Beyond a PR background, Laura previously held the position of Director of Marketing for the number 1 small residential real estate team in Maryland, where she played a key role in driving business growth by developing and implementing successful systematic processes, leading to a significant increase in listing capabilities. In addition to listing marketing, she played an integral role in engaging with local news outlets to gain additional team exposure.

Laura holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland, College Park where she founded a puppy-raising and training program for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. Serving as President and Area Coordinator, she worked closely with the Puppy Program Representatives to establish the first puppy raiser program in the University’s history, resulting in over 60 working dogs since 2017.
